Feishu Quant Competition

In modern quantitative investment practice, research outcomes of genuine long-term value are often embodied in implementable, executable, and reproducible investment portfolios, not merely in statistically significant factor correlations. Feishu Quant Competition, with academic support from ETH Zurich, Universität Zürich (University of Zurich), Technische Universität München (TUM), and the University of Toronto, focuses on the entire asset management process, centering on the construction, execution, and evaluation of long-only portfolio strategies in the A-share market.

Competition Schedule

Phase 1: Competition

Period: March 22, 2026, to June 1, 2026.

Operating Mechanism:

• Individuals or teams (maximum 3 members per team).

• The in-sample data will be released at 12:00 PM (Beijing Time) on March 22, 2026.
• The out-of-sample data will be released at 12:00 PM (Beijing Time) on May 28, 2026.
• All submission materials must be submitted no later than 12:00 PM (Beijing Time) on June 1, 2026.

• Before the deadline, participating teams can develop portfolio strategies using the data provided by the organizer and submit relevant materials according to specifications.

Phase 2: Competition Rankings and Award Ceremony

Competition rankings: To be announced in early June 2026.

Award ceremony: To be announced separately and is scheduled to take place in the second half of 2026, with invited guests, judges, and contestants in attendance.

Total Prize Pool: RMB 40,000

• 1st Place: RMB 10,000 (1 Team)

• 2nd Place: RMB 7,500 (2 Teams)

• 3rd Place: RMB 5,000 (2 Teams)

• Innovation Prize: RMB 2,500 (2 Teams)
